I’m happy to be back as Team Principal of Williams, and I’m looking forward to what we can achieve this season.
From my experience as TP for multiple seasons I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to build a successful team. Like all teams we’ve had our ups and downs, but I think each of those moments provide us with valuable lessons that we can use to push Williams even further.
Finishing P3 in the Constructors’ Championship last season was an amazing achievement and something everyone involved should be proud of. This showed what we’re capable of when we work as a team. But we won’t stop there. This season we’re aiming even higher, and we’ll do everything we can to fight at the front.
One of the biggest things I value is teamwork. I’m looking for drivers who want to be part of a positive and ambitious environment, where everyone works together, supports each other, and shares the same goal of making the team better. The best results come when everyone pushes in the same direction.
This season I’ll be as hands on as ever. I’ll do whatever is needed to help the team succeed. I’ll be engineering races, helping drivers improve their strategies, identifying areas that need work, and supporting every aspect of the team. If there’s something that can help us get better then I’ll be involved in it.
We already have a strong foundation to build on, but I believe there’s still much more to come from this team. With the right people, the right attitudes, and lots of hard work, there’s no reason why we can’t challenge for even bigger things this season.
